Teen injured after shooting at CTA bus

CHICAGO — A teenager was injured after shots were fired on a CTA bus late Monday afternoon.

Chicago police said the incident occurred just before 5:30 p.m. on a bus in the 8600 block of South State Street on the city’s South Side.

According to police, two women got into an argument in which one of them pulled out a gun and fired shots, grazing a 16-year-old boy in the knee.

Chicago man arrested in connection with home invasion in Wheaton

Chicago Fire Department personnel treated the boy at the scene and later released him.

No one is in custody and Area Two detectives are investigating.
