Boiler explosion in Kochi: A villager from Berhampur dies in a tragic boiler explosion in Kochi | Bhubaneswar News

Berhampur: A shadow of gloom descended on the tribal-dominated village of Sikri Kandhamal district after one villager died and three were injured Burns after an explosion at a boiler in one Plant for processing animal fats at Edayar in Kochi on Saturday evening.
The deceased was identified as Bikram Pradhan (36). Bikram and three others from his village were working at the boiler plant when the incident occurred. The injured have been identified as Manas Pradhan (20), Bara Pradhan (35) and Pranab Pradhan (20).
Villagers are waiting for the body of the deceased, which is expected to arrive in the village on Tuesday. Family members of the injured breathed a sigh of relief after speaking to the victims on Monday. “I asked the factory owner to send my brother’s body to the village. After many requests, he agreed to do this after the autopsy. tnn
