The young teenager who died in a tragic buggy accident near the NSW-Victoria border at the weekend is considered the “light and sunshine” of her family.

Charlee Neven, 13, was traveling in a stroller with another child and two adults when it crashed in Tubbut in Victoria’s far east on Saturday evening.

Unthank said the “tragic” accident was “more than we can comprehend at the moment.”

She started a fundraiser for Charlee’s parents Mark and Lauren, which has so far raised $7,000.

It is believed the accident occurred during a large family gathering.

The police are continuing to investigate.
