Chiefs and Royals fans plan to watch both teams at the same time on Monday night

KANSAS CITY, MO. (WIBW) – Both the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals have some pretty big matchups on Monday night.

While the Royals are in the Bronx for the second ALDS game against the Yankees, the Chiefs host the New Orleans Saints for Monday Night Football.

Before the Chiefs game, 13 Sports walked the tailgates of Arrowhead Stadium to find out how fans in attendance cheered on their Royals at the same time.

Fortunately, this dilemma is easily solved in the digital age.

“Well, we’re going to watch the Royals game on our phones, then tailgate and then go to the stadium and cheer on the Chiefs. So I have to change my jersey,” said a fan wearing a Royals jersey.

“So my wife has her Spectrum app on her phone and so we can watch it live while we’re inside there watching it,” said one fan, wearing a Chiefs jersey and Royals hat. “We tried to convince the Chiefs to install it on the jumbotron, but we haven’t heard back.”

The Royals begin their game at 6:38 p.m. on TBS and Max, while the Chiefs kick off at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN.
