The last time Dallas played in Pittsburgh, Dallas QB Dak Prescott was in the midst of his 2016 Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign.

Prescott returns to the Steel City at age 31 as the highest-paid player in the NFL. He led an offense with the league’s worst rushing attack (75.3 yards per game) and had no serious threats other than All-Pro CeeDee Lamb.

Steelers QB Justin Fields remains the starter while Russell Wilson recovers from a calf injury. Wilson is officially questionable for the game.

The Steelers suffered their first loss of the season, falling 27-24 in Indianapolis last weekend despite Fields throwing for 312 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 55 yards and two scores. Pittsburgh had a chance to score a game-winning field goal late but failed.

Dallas Cowboys injury report

Dallas pass rushers Micah Parsons (ankle) and DeMarcus Lawrence (injured reserve) are out Sunday. Cornerback Caelen Carson (shoulder) was limited all week and is questionable, as is Trevon Diggs. Diggs (ankle) did not practice on Friday.

Cowboys receiver Brandin Cooks developed an infection following right knee surgery and was ruled out earlier this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers injury report

Steelers left defenseman Isaac Seumalo (pectoral muscle) is on track to make his season debut on Sunday. Running back Jaylen Warren (knee), linebacker Alex Highsmith (groin) and kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) are out.
