Two dead in two-vehicle collision near River, Campbell

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A crash near Campbell Avenue and River Road in Pima County left two people dead late Sunday, October 6th.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said a driver was speeding on southbound Campbell Street when he crossed the median and struck another vehicle head-on.

According to PCSD, the driver of the speeding vehicle suffered serious injuries while two passengers died. Two people in the other vehicle reported no injuries.

According to the PCSD, the investigation is still ongoing.
