Triple suicide: Tragic triple suicide in Mulchera: Young lovers and father found dead | Nagpur News

Nagpur: A small village, Laxmipurin Mulchera taluka, was rocked by tragedy on Sunday young couple and the girl’s father were found dead in a suspected case triple suicide.
Jaydev Mandal (20), a resident of Laxmipur, and Amela Roy (18), a resident of Vijaya Nagar, were found hanging from a tree in a nearby field. They used the same rope to end their lives. Amela, a Class 12 student, had been in a relationship with Jaydev for two years.
The news spread like wildfire and attracted a large crowd, including villagers, to the crime scene. Amela’s father Amit Roy (42) was among the mourners. But while the police were preparing to transport the bodies for the autopsy, Roy suddenly disappeared from the crowd.
A search was immediately launched and his cell phone was located. Tragically, his body was found later that evening in a nearby forest, also hanging from a tree. His motorcycle was discovered near the scene of the accident.
Police have launched an investigation into the triple suicide that has devastated the community. Preliminary investigations suggest that Jaydev and Amela’s love affair may have faced opposition from their families, leading to the tragic outcome. The exact circumstances of the deaths are still under investigation.
