Minneapolis Police: Man in custody after shooting, standoff at home

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – A man is in custody after a shooting at a residence in the Loring Park neighborhood of Minneapolis.

What we know

Shortly after 4 p.m. Monday, Minneapolis police said they evacuated residents after shots were fired at a residence on East Grant Street at 1st Avenue South.

Our teams discovered a massive police operation along Grant, consisting of squads, emergency responders and a SWAT vehicle.

At around 4:45 p.m., police announced that a man had been arrested.

What we don’t know

Police said the man suffered minor injuries, but it was not immediately clear how he was injured.

The exact circumstances that led to the shooting were also unclear.
