Dane Co. Coroner identifies dead man in Monona Bay

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man found dead in Monona Bay last month.

The coroner stated Monday that Roan Vaughan was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 12:25 p.m. on September 25.

The cause and manner of death of 20-year-old Vaughan is still under investigation. He lived in Brooklyn, New York.

The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office completed a forensic autopsy on September 26 and indicated further testing is being conducted. Madison police are also continuing to investigate.
