IUPD receives two separate reports of sexual assault in Bradford Woods, Spruce Hall

Two separate sexual assaults were reported to the IU Police Department on September 27th and 29th.

Hannah Skibba, public information officer for IUPD, said in an email that IUPD was notified on Sept. 27 of a sexual assault that occurred between June 16 at Bradford Woods, IU’s 2,500-acre outdoor center has20. 2024.

On September 29, IUPD officers responded to a report of sexual assault in Spruce Hall. Skibba said the student was provided medical care and resources but did not want to pursue criminal charges.

Skibba said both cases are currently under investigation.

Eight sexual assaults and nine rapes have been reported to IUPD since August 21, according to the IUPD Crime log.
