Euphoric look: Gunasekhar aims for a solid comeback with this youthful drama | Latest Telugu Cinema News | Film reviews

Popular Telugu filmmaker Gunasekhar has suffered a major setback with the failure of mythological drama Shaakuntalam, which starred Samantha. His last two films were large-scale, high-budget projects, but this time he is presenting a youthful entertainer titled Euphoria, which will mostly feature newcomers. Today, the makers unveiled a glimpse of the film at an event in Hyderabad.

Ace producer Dil Raju was present. At first glance, Euphoria seems to be a social drama that highlights current social issues. A young lady who has been taking drugs gets on a subway and starts thinking strange things. This is the opening sequence of the glimpse and Gunasekhar immediately grabs our attention by showing the side effects of medication.

From then on, the view shows the lifestyle of some rich kids who are enjoying life like there is no tomorrow. Suddenly the teaser takes on a serious tone and shows a few teenagers molesting a girl. A scene follows in which a group of people protest and condemn the sexual assaults on women. All in all, the insight looks very promising.

Will Gunasekhar make a comeback with Euphoria? It seems like he does. So far, 60% of the filming has been completed and soon the makers will complete the remaining portions. Euphoria is bankrolled by Gunasekhar’s home banner Guna Handmade Films.

Bhumika Chawla, Sara Arjun, Nassar, Rohith, Vignesh Gavireddy, Likhitha Yalamanchali, Addala Prudhviraj, Kalpa Latha and others play important roles. Kaala Bhairava composes the tunes.
