A Canadian woman’s allegations against Tim Hortons have sparked widespread discussion on social media. In a viral post

The incident came to light during ongoing discussions about Canada’s immigration policies and their impact on the workforce.

In a post shared by X user @Klaus_Arminius, the woman accused Tim Hortons management of only hiring Indian immigrants. The post states: “This woman noticed that Indian managers at Tim Hortons only hired other Indian immigrants; When she was confronted with the discriminatory attitude, she was fired.”

The user also shared a snap of the woman in which she revealed details about the incident.

The text on the snap read: “I was just fired from Tim Hortons after four years. Just because I accused the management of only hiring “Indians”. Now I’m exposing everything they let us hide.”

The post was shared on October 4 and has since received over 4.5 million views, sparking a debate about immigrants.

One user commented: “It’s not just Tim Hortons. The IT industry has been doing this slowly for decades. This is why software is so bad now. Games are released full of bugs and unfinished content. Safety issues are pervasive. “The industry is failing.”

“She should definitely file a complaint, there are laws against 1. hiring employees of only 1 ethnicity and 2. retaliating against employees. She will probably win a lot by suing them,” another user said.

A third person said: “Okay, that’s interesting. We’ve had Tim Hortons in Tavistock Road, Plymouth, UK for a few years I think. I made a few visits and noticed the homogeneity of the staff there.” “They all without exception had brown skin and, in my opinion, looked decently Indian.”
