North County shooting victim reports to hospital

On October 4, at approximately 10:03 p.m., North District patrol officers responded to the 3500 block of Cottage Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. A short time later, a man entered an area hospital to receive treatment for a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 34-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right thigh. The victim’s condition is stable.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and took charge of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Northern District Shooting Detectives at 410-396-2455.
