Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ mother defends music mogul over sexual abuse allegations, says ‘My son is not the monster…’ |

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mother has spoken out in defense of her son as he faces trial Sex traffickingextortion and several other sexual assault allegations, Page Six reported.
Janice Combs released a statement through her attorney, Natlie G. Figgers: “It is heartbreaking to see my son being convicted not of the truth, but of a narrative made up of lies. Witnessing what amounts to a public lynching of my son in front of him.” “Having the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable for words. “Like every human being, my son deserves his day in court to finally make his case and prove his innocence,” she said in a statement.
In addition to defending her son, she also mentioned that he made mistakes, pointing to surveillance footage that showed him hitting his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016. “I’m not here to portray my son as perfect because he isn’t. “He’s made mistakes in his past, just like we all have,” she continued in the statement. “My son may not have been entirely truthful about certain things, such as when he denied ever being violent toward an ex-girlfriend when hotel surveillance showed otherwise,” the page continued Six shared statement.
She also mentioned why she believes her son settled out of court with Ventura last November
“Sometimes the truth and a lie are so closely linked that it becomes frightening to admit part of the story, especially when that truth is outside the norm or too complicated to be believed,” she said, adding: ” This is why.” I believe my son’s civil rights department chose to settle the ex-girlfriend’s lawsuit rather than fight it to the end, which created a ricochet effect as the federal government used that decision against my son by she interpreted it as an admission of guilt.”
Cassie filed a lawsuit against her ex last November, accusing him of rape, sex trafficking and repeated physical abuse.
She also defended him on several other sexual assault allegations, saying: “If I am not completely clear on a matter, that does not mean that my son is guilty of the disgusting allegations and the serious allegations that have been made against him.”
“Many people who were wrongfully convicted and later exonerated were deprived of their liberty not because they were guilty of the crimes of which they were accused, but because they did not fit the image of what this society defines as a ‘good person.’ ‘History has shown us how individuals can be wrongfully convicted because of their past actions or mistakes.’
She added that the allegations against her son “are motivated by those seeking financial gain rather than justice.”

“Watching the world joke and laugh at my son’s life crumbling before our eyes is something I can never forget,” Janice said in the statement. “It is truly excruciating to see the world turn against my son so quickly and easily because of lies and misunderstandings, without ever hearing his side or giving him the opportunity to present his side,” she continued.
Janice brought up some other points regarding Diddy’s most recent accusers, saying, “These individuals saw how quickly my son’s civil rights team settled his ex-girlfriend’s lawsuit, so they believe they can get a quick reward if.” “They are falsely accusing my son,” she said.
She added: “false claims of sexual assault prevent real victims of sexual violence from receiving the justice they deserve. To make matters worse, the federal government is now using these lies to prosecute my son. This injustice was unbearable for our family. The worst part of this ordeal is watching my beloved son be stripped of his dignity, not for what he has done, but for what people believe about him.”
She concluded: “My son is not the monster they made him out to be and he deserves the chance to speak his side. “I can only pray that I’m still alive to see him speak his truth and be vindicated,” Page Six reported.

Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in New York City in September as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation.
Combs has been in the headlines for a long time. Most recently, his former bandmate Dawn Richard filed a sexual abuse lawsuit against him.
Richard’s lawsuit included charges of assault, false imprisonment, withholding millions of dollars in unpaid royalties and wages, and theft of her copyrighted works.
Richard’s complaint was at least the eighth against him since his former girlfriend Casandra Ventura filed a lawsuit last year alleging years of physical and sexual abuse. That lawsuit was quickly settled, but led to other accusers, including Liza Gardner, Joi Dickerson-Neal and Crystal McKinney, making similar complaints.
In March, federal law enforcement agents raided Diddy’s homes as part of a human trafficking investigation.
