Love Next Door ends with its highest rating yet

On Sunday, October 6, tvN’s most popular romantic comedy, which also airs on Netflix, achieved its highest ratings in its entire run. According to Nielsen Korea, starrer “Jung Hae In and Jung So Min” achieved an average rating of 8.5 percent nationwide, setting a new personal record for the hit series.

The penultimate episode of the show on Saturday achieved a nationwide average rating of 6.1 percent. The series ended with almost everyone getting a predictable happy ending. On Netflix, it remained the seventh most watched non-English television series of the day.

Iron Family reaches double digits

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, “Beauty and Mr. Romantic,” KBS 2TV’s “Iron Family” debuted with a national average of 14.4 percent in its third episode and posted impressive growth as its fourth episode rose to a national average of 15, 4 percent increase. Once again, the series became the most-watched program ever broadcast on Sunday.

Love Next Door stars Jung Hae In and Jung So Min secured the top two spots on the hottest actors list as their show continued to dominate the drama rankings. SBS’s “The Judge from Hell” made an impressive debut, placing second among dramas, with Park Shin Hye taking third place on the actors list. Meanwhile, “No Gain No Love” held on to third place, while Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae also made a splash, ranking fourth and sixth on the actors’ list.
