Things to note and note: Week of October 6th

Things to note and note: Week of October 6th

Ironically, with Halloween just around the corner, there is only one hot horror film to announce this week: Horror 3 — A classic thrasher set in a sleepy small town on Christmas Eve – it’s worth adding to your selection of Halloween classics. But my excitement lies with the two comedies coming to theaters this Friday: The apprentice, a film about Trump’s New York real estate business in the ’70s and ’80s; And Saturday evening, It tells the events leading up to the first broadcast of Saturday Night Live.

If you want more excitement, you can definitely read: The last one at the wedding by Jason Rekulak and This cursed house by Del Sandeen. Both contain eye-opening secrets and disturbing revelations. My personal listening choice for this week is La Femme rock machine, a trippy 80s synthesizer pop project with a strong French accent.

I highly recommend everyone to attend Gilman 50 this Sunday to attend the Film and Media Studies Faculty presentation. It is an incredible opportunity to see a different side of Hopkins and show our support for the exciting work of the Department of Film and Media Studies.

Thanks everyone for reading and I hope you find something you enjoy. Until next week!
