Three people are injured in a crash in Tempe involving cyclists

PHOENIX – Three people were injured in a collision between a vehicle and a group of cyclists in Tempe on Sunday, authorities said.

The crash occurred in the area of 15th Street and College Avenue.

Three drivers were transported to the hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative. Alcohol does not appear to be a contributing factor.

The investigation is ongoing and authorities are advising motorists to avoid the area as College Avenue is currently closed. No further information was available.
