I didn’t think it was terrible. We were probably still trying to finish fifth or sixth, and then the 48 just drove me through in the tri-oval. He just broke my #$*W. I don’t know what he’s thinking.”

You had a 28 point cushion. Do you think that will be enough to give you some wiggle room at the Roval? “I have no idea. To be honest, I don’t have good hopes at the moment. We didn’t get particularly good stage points and we’re obviously last, so we’ll see where we are in the end.”

COULD YOU SEE THE 48 BEHIND YOU? Did you think he would slow down before he got to you? “Yeah. I thought he had more sense, but obviously that wasn’t the case. Yeah, I see him coming and I see him dragging his ass towards me and you kind of have to lift yourself up a little bit. You can in the tri -Oval doesn’t just run through someone at full force, but he did it.”

Did you feel anything different in the car with this package? “I don’t know. It still hurt when I broke.”
