Crime story about a murder on Long Island: Woman found stabbed to death in Hempstead basement

HEMPSTEAD, Long Island (WABC) — Long Island police have a grisly murder mystery under their control.

Investigators found a woman stabbed to death in her Hempstead home Saturday evening.

Officers went to the Botsford Avenue home shortly before 8:30 p.m. and discovered the 29-year-old’s body in the basement with multiple stab wounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
