Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur did not attend the India vs Pakistan match after the presentation and Smriti Mandhana came in her place. When Mandhana was asked about Harman’s injury, she said, “Right now it is too early to say anything, the medical team is examining her. “We hope she is fine.” Afterwards, Smriti said about the team’s performance, “As a bowling unit, we bowled well and also showed agility on the field.” We were very good on the field. We could have done better when batting. But we are happy about this victory.”

On the net run rate, Mandhana said, “We thought about it but Shefali wasn’t able to time the ball well. “We didn’t want to get into a situation where it would be difficult for us to win. β€œThe net run rate is important to us, this win will give us momentum and we hope to win in the future too.” Pakistan scored 105 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs and India won the game by 108 runs for four wickets in 18.5 overs.
