Man is charged with child endangerment after allegedly attacking a woman with a child

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was arrested after he allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend while she was holding their 2-year-old son, according to an arrest report.

On August 26, Metro Nashville Police Department officers were called to 619 Sylvan Street for a domestic violence report.

When officers arrived, they spoke with Rodjanae Cato, the victim. She told police her ex-boyfriend, 21-year-old Jordan Pritchett, tried to break into her apartment and attacked her while she was holding their 2-year-old son.

According to the report, Cato was standing outside her apartment talking to Pritchett when he became “angry.” He allegedly grabbed her throat with his hand and choked her, then smashed her head into a car parked nearby.

Pritchett was charged with child endangerment and aggravated trespassing.

According to criminal court records, Pritchett was charged with, among other things, aggravated assault.
