Ogun Police arrest a 29-year-old suspect for his alleged involvement in the tragic loss of three young girls

The investigation revealed that the suspect, along with an accomplice who is currently at large, would lure victims to remote areas, take their belongings and then contact the families to extort ransom money.

The incidents occurred on May 6, July 3 and August 30, 2024. The victims were 18-year-old Akinsanya Habibat, 22-year-old Abigail Dina and 23-year-old Mary Ogunyemi.

Philip, who escaped from a correctional facility two years ago, has confessed and led authorities to the locations where the incidents occurred.
