LCW welcomes the issuance of arrest warrants against six war criminals

The Libyan Crime Watch (LCW) has welcomed the issuance of international arrest warrants by the International Criminal Court against six individuals accused of committing war crimes in Tarhuna.

The LCW called on the court’s prosecutors to reverse the decision to end investigations in Libya by the end of 2025 and called for the issuance of arrest warrants for all those involved in war crimes and crimes against humanity in Libya.

The organization stressed the need for the Libyan authorities to cooperate with the International Criminal Court, arrest and extradite all wanted individuals to ensure that their trial is carried out in accordance with international standards.
