1 killed in shooting in Johnstown overnight, coroner says

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. – One person was killed in an early morning shooting in Johnstown, according to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees.

Details are limited, but emergency officials say the shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Ash St.

Authorities have not confirmed how many people were shot or what led to the shooting, but say one person was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Lees says the person died in the operating room.

Johnstown police are leading the investigation.
