Zendaya on “Euphoria” Season 3 Time Jump: “You Can Only Handle So Much High School Drama”

The Emmy Award-winning actress, who plays Rue, recently announced the long-running third installment of the Sam Levinson-created HBO drama, about a time jump to life after high school.

“That’s important because you can only take so much high school drama,” she said on Entertainment Weekly’s “The Awards” podcast, before quipping, “‘And then she cheats on her boyfriend again!'”

While Zendaya, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, couldn’t reveal many details about the third season’s storylines, she teased that it will be “intriguing.”

“I don’t actually know much about what’s happening,” she said. I don’t know exactly what the season will look like, but I know the time jump is happening.”
