The Bosch motorcycle automatically notifies the emergency services in the event of an accident – Telegraph

Bosch has launched a new emergency call system that can automatically call for help in the event of an accident.

However, this system is only intended for motorcycles.

In the company’s statement, Bosch makes it clear that “the risk of a motorcycle accident is 20 times higher than that of drivers” and the sooner a motorcyclist is helped, the greater his chances of survival. Telegraph.

The system is based on the inertial sensor unit, which is part of the stability control of Bosch MSC engines.

The service also relies on the sensor’s built-in accident algorithm to determine whether an engine has actually been in an accident or simply stalled.

If the system detects that a motorcycle has been involved in an accident, it sends information about the accident location. /Telegraph/
