Illinois man injured after single-vehicle crash in McCracken County

PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) – A man was hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash in McCracken County, Kentucky.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 3:19 a.m. Friday, October 4, officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Said Road for a report of a single-vehicle collision with injuries.

Through investigation, it was determined that 30-year-old Jacob Benavides of Metropolis, Illinois was driving his vehicle east on Said Road. His vehicle left the road to the left and crashed into a tree line.

Benavides was transported by Mercy Regional EMS to a local hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
