Teenager killed in four-wheeler accident

LINCOLN CO., Ky. (WKYT) – A teenager died in an early morning crash in Lincoln County on Saturday.

According to the Lincoln County Coroner’s Office, the accident occurred just after 12:30 p.m

19-year-old Aden Jones died after he lost control of the four-wheeler he was driving, which overturned and crashed on Trusty Road.

The sheriff’s office said he was not wearing a helmet.

The coroner says Jones and his family were from Indiana and were visiting properties they owned in Lincoln County.

Jones’ family reportedly found him after the accident and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, but the coroner believes alcohol played a role in the crash.
