Police respond to a shooting in Phoenix and discover a man hit by a truck

PHOENIX – A man is dead after he is believed to have been struck by a truck near a gas station at the intersection of 35th Avenue and Union Hills Drive.

According to police, the man was found around 1 a.m. when police were called to a shooting in the area.

He was found lying on the ground and taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An air patrol unit in the area found a truck matching the description that allegedly hit the man.

Police were able to catch up with the vehicle and arrest several people in the truck.

Witnesses where the man was found on the street said there was a shootout outside the gas station before the man was run over.
