Tragic buggy accident in Tubbut, Victoria: Adult and child dead, investigation ongoing

An adult and a child died in a buggy accident at a property in Victoria on Saturday evening.

There were two adults and two children in the buggy at the time of the accident in Tubbut in the state’s far east.

The adult driver and one of the underage passengers were found dead at the scene when emergency services were called just before 11pm to reports the buggy had rolled over.

They have both yet to be formally identified, Victoria Police said.

The second minor passenger was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the other adult passenger was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
