In a shocking development, a man has been arrested for allegedly strangling his mother in Dibrugarh city, Assam, authorities confirmed on Saturday.

The disturbing incident took place at their residence in Banipur area on Friday evening, Dibrugarh Police Commissioner Rakesh Reddy said.
