“WCTH” cast reunites with Mamie Laverock after tragic fall

Actress Mamie Laverock has reunited with her When the heart calls Castmates. The actress, who played Rosaleen Sullivan in the series, fell from a five-story balcony in May. Laverock had also previously updated fans on social media about her recovery.

The reunion had a fitting name

The reunion was notable because Laverock suffered a five-story fall from a balcony walkway back in May. As noted by PeopleAfter the fall, the actress was in critical condition and had to be put on life support. Notably, she was seen using a walker during the Hallmark event.

In conversation with New York PostHallmark Media released the following statement following the news of Laverock’s ouster: “We are deeply saddened to hear the news about Mamie. Laverock began her career as a child actress and her first role was the uncredited role of Bonnie The killing game. For many, she is best known for her role as Rosaleen Sullivan When the heart calls. The character, the daughter of Patrick and Molly Sullivan, lost her father in a mining accident early in the series. Originally seen in the first two seasons, the character returns in the tenth season, where viewers see her attending nursing school.

The actress kept fans updated about her recovery process

Laverock shared how she returned home on her Facebook page just three months after the fall. At the time the post shared the message: “Dreams do come true. Welcome home, Mommy.

The site responded to comments with updates on Laverock’s condition. It said: “She is still seriously injured but we will look after her privately.”

“She had to be home. I’m so happy for her. She made it this far… next chapter. It’s a blessing to have her home.”

As she begins her recovery process, the actress also shared her first steps since the fall. Surrounded by medical staff, Laverock shared a post thanking her medical team. She wrote: “Thank you surgeon, thank you, prayers, thank you Lord. Mamie just took her first steps.”
