A man was found stabbed to death in his Chatham apartment, police said

CHICAGO (CBS) – A man was hospitalized after he was found stabbed to death at a Chatham neighborhood residence Friday morning.

Chicago police said the man, aged between 30 and 40, was found unresponsive in the apartment in the 7900 block of South Normal Avenue shortly before 6 a.m.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition with a stab wound to the back.

No one has been in custody since Friday.

Area 2 detectives are investigating.
