Since his skiing accident in 2013, Michael Schumacher’s health details have remained secret, but he made his first public appearance in over a decade at his daughter Gina’s wedding, prompting revelations from friends about his condition and his communication methods.

Michael Schumacher almost died in an accident in December 2013.

New Delhi: Since the near-fatal skiing accident in 2013, Formula 1 hero Michael Schumacher’s life has seen many dramatic changes over the years. However, the details of his health after the incident remained rather secret until today. Despite rumors circulating around the world about how Michael Schumacher lived in Switzerland, European reporting appears to suggest a different story as he made his first public appearance in more than a decade this week when he attended the wedding of his daughter Gina participated.

The ceremony took place in a villa in Mallorca, Spain. According to the report, guests were prohibited from taking photos of the venue to maintain a high level of privacy throughout the event.

Elisabetta Gregoraci, the wife of current Alpine F1 team boss Flavio Briatore, has given a poignant insight into the way Michael Schumacher communicates after his skiing accident.

“Michael doesn’t speak, he communicates with his eyes. Only three people can visit him and I know who they are. They moved to Spain and his wife set up a hospital in this house,” Gregoraci said on the Italian reality TV show “Grande Fratello,” as quoted by Express.co.uk.

According to local media reports, Schumacher’s wife Corinna bought the luxury villa from Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez. Additionally, former world champion Sebastian Vettel, a close friend of the Schumacher family, recently revealed that the F1 legend is “not doing well.”

Schumacher’s lawyer Felix Damm has explained that the former F1 driver’s family has decided not to publish his latest health report, citing privacy concerns as the reason for the decision.

“It was always about protecting private things. “We have been thinking about whether a final report on Michael’s health could be the right path,” Damm told German media portal LTO, according to SI.com.

Damm also mentioned that if Schumacher’s family had released the final health report, they would have faced significant media pressure to provide regular updates on his health.

“But that wouldn’t have been the end, there would have had to be constant updated ‘water level reports’ and it wouldn’t have been up to the family when media interest in the story would have stopped.”

“She [the media] “I could pick up a report like that again and again and say, ‘What about now?’ one, two, three months or years after the news,” he added. “If we then wanted to take action against this reporting, we would have to deal with the argument of voluntary disclosure,” he added.
