Iranian missiles seen in the sky over Jordan on their way to Israel

Footage from Dabouq, Jordan, shows rocket fire exploding over Israel after Iran fired nearly 200 rockets into the country on October 1.

The Israeli military said most of the rockets were intercepted but a small number hit central and southern Israel.

The country’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran had made a “big mistake” and would “pay for it.”

A man was killed by falling rocket debris in the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, Palestinian officials said.

Iran said the attack was in response to two assassinations by Israel – Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
