Early morning shooting leaves one dead and one injured in Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said one person is dead and another is injured following an early morning shooting Friday.

According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called to Furman Hall Road just after 3 a.m. for a shooting. Upon arrival, two male victims were found with at least one gunshot wound each and were taken to the hospital.

The coroner’s office said one of the victims taken to the hospital died. They have not yet been identified at this time.

Deputies said this investigation is in its early stages.
