Arrest in street shooting

VICKSBURG, MS – Nicholas Clay, 29, of Vicksburg was taken into custody by police on Thursday, October 3, 2024, for his involvement in a shooting in the 1100 block of Speed ​​Street on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. One man was injured in this altercation.

Clay appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Thursday, October 3, 2024, and was charged with aggravated assault and shooting at a dwelling. Judge Lawson set his bond at $50,000 and remanded him to the Warren County Grand Jury.
