Norton Shores man in custody for alleged possession of child pornography

NORTON SHORES, Mich. – Police have arrested a Norton Shores man accused of possessing child pornography.

The suspect, 39-year-old Andrew Johnson, was booked into the Muskegon County Jail on multiple counts of aggravated possession of child pornography, according to the Norton Shores Police Department (NSPD).

We’re told the arrest is the culmination of a Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) sting operation. The agency informed a Norton Shores detective of their findings, which led to obtaining a search warrant at Johnson’s home.

According to NSPD, the search warrant was executed Wednesday and hundreds of pornographic images of children were found on multiple devices.
