The Dark Harbor of the Queen Mary: The Ghosts Rise

After four long years, The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor returns to Long Beach, California. The nearly 100-year-old haunted ship has been transformed into a haunted destination once again.

Haunted experiences and more can be enjoyed both on board the ship and in the surrounding harbor. Beloved icons like Scary Mary and The Ringmaster have returned, along with haunted mazes, live entertainment, spooky experiences, speakeasies and lounges, and spooky food and treats.

At this popular event, mazes will continue the stories of the past and introduce new characters and storylines. Secret speakeasies are hidden in and around Dark Harbor’s labyrinths and attractions. Only guests with one of Lady Mabel’s mystical tokens are allowed entry. Some of these tokens will be issued every evening during the maiden voyage launch party at 8:08 p.m. at the shipyard. For guaranteed access, guests can purchase a “Foresight Four Pack,” which includes a shared astrology reading with Lady Mabel herself and four Speakeasy tokens.

“We have said from day one that we will honor the history, legacy and stories of this iconic event.” said Brett Bertolino, director of special projects for Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. “But we are also committed to driving the evolution of the event by adding new and innovative experiences.”

The Ringmaster returns to the Queen Mary to celebrate a Halloween carnival with a collection of new and returning rides including Sinister Swings, Black Widow, Rampage Double Wheel and Scary Mary’s Ghost Rider.

To end your evening, join guests in the wharf for a dance party celebrating the Queen Mary’s final voyage to Long Beach. This hour-long finale features Latin music, reggaeton and a performance by El Diablo.
