Ji Chang Wook, Jo Woo Jin, Ha Yun Kyung and BIBI Tease Crime Drama ‘Gangnam B-Side’

Disney+ has finally released the character posters for its highly anticipated crime drama “Gangnam B-Side.” The planned ensemble cast show will star Ji Chang Wook as a realtor and Jo Woo Jin as a detective. They are joined by Ha Yun Kyung as a prosecutor and BIBI as a missing ace of a club. The thrilling series follows a daunting task as prosecutor, detective and broker navigate a terrain filled with malevolence and challenges.

On October 1, Disney+ unveiled the group poster and individual character posters for their highly anticipated crime series “Gangnam B-Side.” The posters provide an insight into the personalities of the main characters. For the series, Ji Chang Wook takes on the role of broker Yun Gil Ho. He exhibits a mysterious moral ambiguity and deviates from the typical prototype of a hero. His character is foiled by Joo Woo Jin’s Kang Dong Woo. Dong Woo is a detective who continues his search for the truth despite his demotion.

Han Yun Kyung, on the other hand, plays the role of the stoic and cautious prosecutor Min Seo Jin. Seo Jin carefully hides her excitement about bringing justice with her calm demeanor. Additionally, singer and actor BIBI plays the missing Jae Hee, setting the series’ mission in motion.

The drama tells the story of the demoted detective. However, he takes matters into his own hands when his daughter’s boyfriend is added to the list of missing people from Gangnam. A prosecutor and a broker then join him in his search. They soon find themselves in a world full of crime, corruption and malevolence. “Gangnam B-side” reveals the darker side of the city and presents a tantalizing and risky hunt for truth and justice. Park Noo Ri directed the planned series. Noo Ri has helmed hits like “Money” and “Political Fever.” Jo Won Gyu is the screenwriter of the project.
