STATE POLICE IN ROCKVIEW

Police responded to a drug possession incident involving a 33-year-old Bellefonte man around 6:30 a.m. Friday, July 5, along Block Paradise Road in Benner Township. According to the police, the investigation into the incident is still ongoing. State police did not release any further details.

Police responded to Benner Pike in Benner Township at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, for a report of criminal mischief at the Giant Supermarket. According to police, charges are pending against a 44-year-old Bellefonte woman in connection with the incident. State police released no further information.

Police initiated a traffic stop along North Center Street in Philipsburg County shortly before midnight on Monday, August 12th. According to police, an 18-year-old woman from Clearfield was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Police did not release any further details, but the investigation is ongoing.

Police are investigating a theft that occurred on Fleck Lane in Philipsburg County on Friday, August 18, at approximately 4 p.m. Police say charges are pending against a 45-year-old Philipsburg man after $461 was stolen from a 70-year-old Philipsburg woman. State police did not release any further details.

Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police in Clearfield in the search for a minor along Kinkead Street in Rush Township on Sunday, August 18, around 8 p.m. When State Police at Rockview located the juvenile at a residence in Philipsburg County, it was discovered that the minor was consuming alcohol. During further investigation, several other minors were found in the apartment along with a 24-year-old man from Philipsburg. After it was discovered that all three minors were consuming alcohol, they were each reported and the 24-year-old Philipsburg man is charged with furnishing alcohol to minors.
