Seven Seas Entertainment licenses 6 new titles and publishes the audiobook series “Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho”.

Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed six new manga series and a Chinese Baihe (Girl’s Love) novel as well as the introduction of one Audiobook adaptation from Sword of Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho.

Here are the details on Seven Seas’ latest additions:

Cat man

History and art: Parari

The manga will be printed in English for the first time in April 2025, with the title available in a single large print run. An e-book edition will also be available on digital platforms.

Summary:

Hachisuke is a humanoid cat who lives in a world where humans and cats coexist. But Hachisuke is withdrawn and has difficulty being loved by people. After all, cats are still treated as cute “objects” for humans. The “Boys’ Love” manga will be printed in English for the first time in July 2025, with the manga being available in a single large print run as part of the Seven Seas BL label (title of “Boys’ Love”). An e-book edition will also be available on digital platforms.

The first volume of audio books Demon Hunter Sword: Kijin Gentosho The light novel series will be published in English for the first time on October 17, 2024 under the Seven Seas Siren imprint. It is narrated by Paul Dateh.

The series also inspires you TV anime adaptation in 2025 and has a 2021 manga adaptation also available on Seven Seas.

Summary:

For generations there has been a shrine in the mountain village of Kadono, and for each generation the shrine has had an Itsukihime – its shrine maiden – and the maiden has had its guardian. During the Edo period, a young man named Jinta protects the city and the Itsukihime.
