Two minor girls are sexually assaulted by the driver in a moving school bus in Pune

Pune: Two underage girls were sexually abused while moving School bus by his driver on September 30 in Pune. The accused, identified as Sanjay Reddy, is 45 years old and was arrested from Wanwadi police station. The case against him has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and Sections 64 and 65(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The incident came to light when one of the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Hadapsar police station. She reported that her daughter returned from school four days ago and confided in her father about the horrific ordeal. When the father heard her daughter’s account, he asked her to provide more details about the incident.

The next day, the father decided to take his daughter to school by bike. He then visited the other victim’s parents at home and informed them about the incident. The parents questioned their daughter, who confirmed the attack. A complaint was then lodged with the Wanwadi police, which led to the arrest of the accused driver late at night.
