Motorcycle accident results in serious injuries on I-435 near Lamar

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – Emergency crews are at the scene of an accident that caused several lanes of eastbound I-435 to be closed.

Overland Park police said officers are investigating a crash involving serious injuries in the area of ​​I-435 and Lamar Avenue.

According to police, a motorcyclist lost control and rammed a truck. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries as a result.

OPPD said one eastbound lane was open at 4:34 p.m. KC Scout estimated the accident scene would be clear shortly before 5 p.m
