Sergio Rico: The former PSG goalkeeper is playing his first game since his riding accident

“A return to the game and back to victory. Thank you to all fans for their support. The first win in a long series,” wrote Rico on social media.

Several current and former teammates commented on the post with messages of support.

“Let’s go, guys! Congratulations on this comeback, show your courage. I’m really happy for you,” wrote former Real Madrid striker Joselu, who scored two goals in the win.

“So great, my brother!! I’m so happy to see you there,” said Rico’s former PSG teammate Keylor Navas.

Rico could make his domestic debut in the Qatari Stars Cup against Umm Salal on October 5th.
