Motorcyclist killed in crash in Provo

PROVO – A motorcyclist died after a “serious” accident in Provo on Wednesday, according to Provo police.

PPD said the crash occurred at 800 N. 500 West. Traffic was blocked in all directions from around 7:30 a.m

Janna-Lee Holland of Provo Police said a car collided with the motorcycle and the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. Holland said he died shortly afterward and it was unclear whether or not they made it to the hospital before their deaths.

“Please avoid the area and follow diversions,” police requested.
