Riders are injured in a motorcycle accident in Niagara

NIAGARA, Wis. – Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident in Niagara, Wisconsin, on Saturday.

According to Niagara Police, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. Two motorcycles were seen traveling north through the city, passing vehicles at high speeds. One of the motorcycles failed to negotiate a curve on Main Street near 4Th road and fell into a forest.

The occupants of the motorcycle were not wearing safety equipment and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Marshfield Clinic-Dickinson for treatment.

Assisting on scene were the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Niagara Fire Department and Integrity Paramedics. Citizens on scene assisted the injured drivers and directed traffic until officers arrived.
