One was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle accident

BUTLER COUNTY, Mo. (KAIT) – One woman died and another was injured Tuesday evening when their vehicles collided.

The accident occurred at 9:15 p.m. Oct. 1 on Missouri Highway 53 at the intersection of Missouri Highway 142 in Butler County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 38-year-old Shanea L. Brown of Poplar Bluff was traveling westbound when her 1987 Chrysler 5th Avenue entered the intersection and struck a southbound Kia Carnival 2022, which was driven by 32-year-old Heather L., crashed. Massie.

Ambulances took both women to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, where Dr. Raymond Ketting Brown was pronounced dead at 10:11 p.m

Massie suffered moderate injuries.

According to the MSHP accident report, Massie was wearing a seatbelt. It wasn’t Brown.
