The official opening performance of the new off-Broadway musical The Big Gay Jamboree had to be postponed at short notice due to Star Marla MindelleEven though he was ill, stars still came out to support the “Ga(y)la” performance.

Kaia Gerber was among the celebs who enjoyed the show on Monday night (September 30) at the Orpheum Theater in New York City.

Were also there Billy Eichner, Camila Morrone, peppermintAnd Frankie Grandewho was pulled onto the stage during audience participation.

While Marla wasn’t on the show that night, her standby Cortney Wolfson performed with actors Alex Moffat, Paris Nix, Constantine Rousouli, Natalie Walkerand more.

The Big Gay Jamboree The focus is on Stacey (Mindelle), who passes out after 18 Jägerbombs, wakes up hungover in the most terrifying place of all: an off-Broadway musical. With no memory of how she got there, Stacey is forced to use her BFA in theater, shed her face, and figure out how the hell she’s going to escape this 1940s Golden Age musical… during a Live audience watching.
