Woman injured in stabbing at Quality Inn in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WSBT) — A 19-year-old woman is injured after a knife attack at a Mishawaka hotel.

According to police, there were reports of a stabbing at the Quality Inn Hotel on West University Drive around 3:45 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they found no victims. A nearby hospital later reported that a 19-year-old woman had been admitted with a stab wound to her back.

Police confirmed that the stabbing took place in a room at the hotel.

Officials say the young woman is expected to be fine and is not a threat to the community.
